We created this Smarter Bell curve with active input from parents. As as result, families interact in their child’s meetings more meaningfully. Also, it was designed with familiar color codes related to traffic: red, yellow green lights. So, teams can explain norm-referenced, standardized test scores to families in a more comfortable way. Now, school staff and advocates can show parents a wonderful, visual resource to explain test scores. This way, teams can give parents this bell curve hand-out during meetings. It shows composite standard scores that have a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15.
